1 Introduction
Sistemas Informáticos Abiertos (hereinafter SIA) built the SIAVAL CryptoBrowser extension as a free Google Chrome Extension. This extension is provided by SIA and is intended for use as is.
This policy is used to describe collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use the extension.
2 Purpose
Which is the purpose for the treatment?
The SIAVAL CryptoBrowser extension serves as a bridge between the web browser and the native application in order to allow document signing, verification, cyphering and deciphering. All processes are performed within the local computer.
Collected Data categories
The extension does not collect any user data. All processes are performed within the user computer, and not connected to any source outside. The extension does not aim at certain data nor identifies types of data nor uses them for any other usage apart from its work as a connector to the native application.
3 Legitimation
Based on the authorization of the user given through its usage of the extension and the reading and acceptance of this privacy policy.
For the fulfillment of legal obligations, such as the REGULATION (EU) No 910/2014 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93/EC, and Spanish 59/2003 Law of Electronic Signature.
4 Which are my rights?
The extension, as established on point 2, does not collect any kind of data from the user, being all processes performed at a local basis, within the user computer. If, in the future, this extension collects any kind of user data, it will be noticed through a modification of the present policy. Nonetheless, the rights granted under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 are the following:
Access
You have the right to obtain from the controller the following information:
• Purposes of the treatment
• Data categories treated
• Recipients of the data
• Data conservation deadlines foreseen
• The existence of the right to request the rectification or suppression or the treatment limitation and/or its opposition.
• The right to lodge a claim with the Control Authorities.
Opposition
You have the right to oppose at any time to any treatment based on your consent, public interest or legitimate interest pursued by the controller.
Limitation
You have the right to limit the treatment of your data if:
• Disputing the exactness of them
• Its treatment is unlawful and you are opposed to its suppression, asking for its limitation instead.
• Your need them for the preparation, exercise or defense of reclamations and the responsible no longer does need them for the purposes on which they are were collected.
• You have opposed its treatment and the controller has alleged legitimate ground, during the verification of these reasons.
Rectification
You have the right to obtain with no undue delay the rectification of your data.
Suppression
You have the right to obtain with no undue delay the suppression of your data when one of the following circumstances happens:
• The data are no longer needed for the purposes for which they were obtained.
• If you retire the consent on which the treatment was based.
• If you oppose the treatment and no legitimate reasons prevail.
• The data needs to be suppressed to fulfill an EU legal obligation.
Portability
You have the right to receive the data provided on an mechanical readable, commonly used, structured format and transmit them to other/s controllers.
Reclamation
You have the right to lodge a claim with a Control Authority.
Damage reparation
You have the right to be compensated for the data or damages in your goods or rights.
5. Security
SIA values your trust in providing us any Personal Information, thus we are striving to use market standard measure to protect it. The user understands that method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and SIA cannot guarantee its absolute security.
